Introduction

My name is Harrison Farr. If you haven't figured it out yet, this is my home on the web. I use this place as a unique expression of the subjects in which I am interested. While by no means exhaustive, I like to think that visitors can get a pretty good idea of who I am by looking through this site.

I'm a college student, and will probably remain a student for the rest of my life. I take great interest in learning what I can about various topics. What I don't know, I learn about. And what I know about, I tend to want to know more.

As part of all that learning, I enjoy writing and reading, and often work on both at the same time. This, is a fascination that started in my formative years when I was exposed to many books by my grandmother, an elementary school teacher, and my mother, a writer/editor. My wife now promotes these endeavors by encouraging me endlessly to pursue what I enjoy.

Reading and writing are very much activities that require a great deal of looking down. Once in awhile, I like to look up and see the creation around me. Sometimes, I capture that creation in my camera. I admit, I take these pictures purely out of selfish pleasure. I will look at the pictures I've taken over and over, imagining my experience when I took that picture and placing myself back in those surroundings.

Like pretty much everyone, I have many other ambitions and goals for my life--some as imaginative as the ones I've already mentioned. You should ask me about them sometime. I don't mind telling you what they are, there are just too many to list here. Why bore you?
